the city of Kiev, the mountain Schekavitsa

"Stop"/sculpture
"Ascent" invisible gallery in the hills of Kiev landscape.

"Emergence" of an open FGE stop in an open space is not a response to any issue of the day. It is not a stop in a literal, moreover, ritualistic sense, however being located on the site of Christian and Moslem cemeteries and near a mosque under construction might lead to the idea. It is not a bus stop, not even a stop of time, nor a place to stage a show of modern art. It is a stop of FGE itself, of what it is, just another event in the life of its own or, for all we know, a step further to its destiny. By virtue of this it is not the bodily nature that is revealed, but a piece on the edge of the architecture unseen, leading a way in the interspatial empty field of the verbal chaos. The convenient place of the 'surfacing' of this item of strange happens to be far removed from the civilized world and the infrastructure thereof, being by the same token afar from the conventional art. FGE is not an option, but a parallel living in it and for itself. This marvelous place in the center of the capital is on the edge of culture being at the same time inseparable from the culture itself and a lovable place to take some rest in the open, where one can chat with friends relaxing on the bench, sitting round a fire or doing whatever else one likes. The stop is like a monument to itself, a provocation to destroy, that has cropped up without being authorized. 'There is time to collect stones and time to undo the work' is an eternal biblical truth. Reasoning in this way one thinks that any monument built by one is a provocation for some to destroy and for some to build new or renovate new ones as we have often had it lately (Mikhailovskiy, Zlatoverkhiy, Uspenskiy monasteries, Zoloti Vorota and others). The meaning of any construction is in destruction. But there is no sense building a stop just to do away with bricks. For FGE there is no such reason at all, furthermore the discursive theory. The stop serves to no goal. Please just once again note that it is not mere isolation or separation, nor an alternative or abstract thinking of the transcendental. It is just a peculiar vision of oneself in the polylogical continuum, an intellectual experience of culture and life.
